Feedback from Working Designers

Your work gets reviewed. You’ll know what’s working and what needs improvement before you launch.

What You’ll Learn

Structured curriculum broken into digestible modules. Learn at your pace, build as you go.

Design Fundamentals (Weeks 1-2)

Color theory, typography, white space, and visual hierarchy. These principles apply to every project you’ll ever do.

HTML Essentials (Weeks 3-4)

Semantic HTML, accessibility standards, and proper structure. Build pages that work for everyone.

CSS Mastery (Weeks 5-7)

Flexbox, responsive design, animations. Create layouts that actually look good on phones, tablets, and desktops.

Portfolio Projects (Weeks 8-12)

5 complete website projects from concept to launch. Each one becomes a portfolio piece you can show clients.

Real People, Real Results

Here’s what freelancers are saying about the training.

“I didn’t have a design background at all. The fundamentals section made everything click. After finishing the portfolio projects, I had real work to show clients. Got my first project within 2 weeks.”

Marcus, 28

Freelance Designer

“The mobile-first approach completely changed how I think about design. I wasn’t building responsive sites properly before this. Now my clients are actually happy with how their sites look on phones.”

Jessica, 32

Web Designer

“I tried other courses but they didn’t stick. This one’s different. The projects are real. You’re not just watching videos — you’re actually building something you can put on your site. That made all the difference for me.”

David, 26

Design Student

Common Questions

We get asked these a lot. Here are the real answers.

Do I need design experience to start?

No. We start from the beginning. If you can use a computer and you’re willing to spend time on projects, you’ll be fine. Most people coming in have zero design background.

How long does it take to finish?

Most people complete it in 12 weeks working part-time (5-10 hours per week). You can go faster or slower. There’s no time limit — you get lifetime access.

Will I really have portfolio pieces after this?

Yes. You build 5+ complete websites. These are real projects, not exercises. You’ll have actual work to show clients and a functioning portfolio site when you’re done.

Is this specific to Canadian freelancers?

The design and code principles apply everywhere. But we do include sections on Canadian market rates, how to find local clients, and what Canadian businesses are actually looking for right now.

Can I get a refund if it’s not right for me?

We offer a 14-day guarantee. If it’s not working for you in the first two weeks, let us know and we’ll refund you fully.

What if I get stuck on a project?

You can reach out with questions. We respond within 24 hours. There’s also a community forum where other students help each other troubleshoot.
